is changing all the time
Prime Television has been supplying minicams for all areas of broadcast for over 15 years. When it comes to minicam facilitation we have seen it, done it, got the T-shirt, ironed out problems and perfected the service.
We would like to share that knowledge and experience with you and your team...

4K Minicams
Prime has always been at the forefront of minicam technology. If there is a better camera out there we make it our job to find it, test it and incorporate them in to the next minicam productions. We have been waiting for 4K resolution mini cameras since the introduction of the RED ONE in 2007. Well the time is nigh, Prime will be taking delivery of the latest 4K mini cameras in February or March (launch date TBC) but will have demonstration models to demonstrate from January. If you are interested in seeing the very latest Pan & Tilt (PTZ) 4K cameras as well as the very latest Toshiba 4K camera please email us using the email button below and we will be happy to schedule a convenient date.

Latest Pepsi Max Viral
Following the success of the Halloween Pepsi Max viral we shot in October, Prime was again asked to provide the production facilities for a new viral a month later. This new Pepsi Max was on a different scale to the previous one and was more challenging, from a minicam prospective then the Halloween viral. The main issue on this viral was the need for small Pan & Tilt (PTZ) camera that produces good quality images in very low light conditions. The need to pan, tilt and zoom while keeping focus under these conditions meant our operators had to be at the top of their game. I think the results speak for themselves. A great result from a great team in difficult conditions. We look forward to the next challenge...

High Octane Drama
When we get called for minicam expertise on a high end drama it usually means something big is going to happen. We were called to do the minicams for the infamous car crash in Emmerdale which saw the end of the much loved Genesis Walker. Last Christmas a dramatic fire at Home Farm was watched by nearly 8 million, all waiting to see if Megan lived or died; our mincams were so close the cables melted. Now we’ve just completed the spectacular minibus crash scene on Coronation Street, using our specialist in car portable HD production rigs. This high octane scene will air in the new year… but here’s a crash we shot earlier.
