Hugh is a lighting cameraman of over 25 years experience. He has filmed in thirty eight countries at the last count. He has recently returned from filming for Dicovery 'Shark Week' in the US and Mexico with his remarkable REDSEE underwater housing for the Phantom Gold. Hugh has worked on enormously diverse projects, from documentary to drama, corporate films to game shows.
Hugh is passionate about capturing outstanding images, and he is constantly striving for perfection. He is experienced in RED, HD, Phantom Gold Hi Speed cameras, 35mm and 16mm film production, minicams and remote heads.
Hugh has a keen interest in wildlife photography which has always informed his work. Early trips filming wild dolphins in the Red Sea, to the Baggau Sea Gypsies under the Molluccan Sea.
His passion for filming underwater has taken him from Viet Nam to Indonesia, The Red Sea to Star City near Moscow, by way of the Manchester Ship Canal, where he 'drowned' Coronation Street's evil Richard Hillman in an award winning scene watched by 20 million viewers.
