Nick Way is an experienced Sound Supervisor in Studio, Outside Broadcast and Location situations. He trained and worked at BBC Television Centre for sixteen years and has been freelancing since 1995. Whilst at the BBC Nick worked on many and varied programmes and is still proud of his sound effects on the Blackadder series. Since becoming freelance Nick has worked in news and radio as well as television and was Head of Sound for the Host Broadcaster for the G8 and G20 Summits as well as other Government events. Debates recorded as live have become a speciality and his work is broadcast on BBC World Service, BBC Parliament and CNBC as well as on-line. He has been in charge of the live audio from the Press Room at Wimbledon for nine years and expects to continue. Nick also teaches Sound at Ravensbourne and Kingston Universities and runs Short Courses for a number of clients.
