RedSee Red One Camera Housing

Underwater DoP Hugh Fairs and Panavision announce the new REDSEE underwater housing for the revolutionary RED ONE 4K camera system, and the Phantom Gold high speed HD camera. Now available for hire from Prime Television.

Working with experienced underwater housing engineers, Greenaway Marine, award winning underwater cameraman Hugh Fairs has designed a housing for the  revolutionary RED ONE, and Phantom Gold HD camera systems. Originally the housing was built with feature films, commercials, and pop promos in mind. However, in December 2010 Hugh took the REDSEE housing to California and Mexico with the Phantom Gold to work on a Discovery film about Great White Sharks, where it proved its worth as a housing for wildlife applications. Hugh has set out to build a housing for the RED ONE and Phantom Gold, that he felt these revolutionary cameras deserved. The REDSEE housing is pressure tested to a depth of 150ft and has been designed for use with the excellent 10mm Zeiss and the 14, 16, 18, 21, 25, 27, 32, 35mm Cooke S4 prime lenses. Also the 18mm to 50mm RED Zoom lens.
